Book covers

These are two book covers I made for some new books I'm publishing. Both of these books are written by me. Asteroid Enterprise is a time travel scifi romance type. Murderous Magic of Sinful Savages is a sort story horror/action collection. I'm trying to be as professional as possible in the realism and materials. Overall book covers can be a unique type of art compared to other approaches. I'm trying to break away from simplistic 3d art techniques and implement more advanced problem solving. To get a better quality result. Most of it seems to stem from the material detail but also the sculpting and lighting. At the same time with book covers simplicity can be preferred.
